Recently, 4-year-old Bertie and his family decided to foster a dog. Everyone fell in love and now Gigi (the dog) has her own Happy Ever After.

With Bertie’s 5th birthday approaching, Mum & Dad asked him what he would like and his answer was 103 dogs.

Bertie’s family were not ready for 102 more dogs so Dad, had a great idea of reaching out to the Dogs in Dubai (FB page) community to see if he could gather photos of 103 Dubai Dogs to wish Bertie a Happy 5th Birthday. The response was astonishing and Bertie received over 1000 birthday wishes.

We noticed in his Dad’s post that Bertie’s dream is to be a Vet. In these special times, we thought we would like to do something nice for Bertie & perhaps encourage a future professional (most of our Vets say they knew what they wanted to do from a very young age too).

Sadly, we were unable to invite Bertie to come and visit us himself but we thought we could make up his very own Bertie ‘Be a Vet’ kit to minister to his toys at home, maybe even Gigi will receive some treatment!

At 2F4P,  we firmly believe that it is important for children to grow up understanding the importance of caring for animals. They are the animal protectors of tomorrow and even if they all do not want to become vets, they should always remember to be kind to animals.

Contact us to know how your children can get involved in caring for animals.
